Louie Mueller Barbecue has been described as a "cathedral of smoke". Producing the finest BBQ in Texas since the restaurant opened in 1949. Founder Louie Mueller handed over the reins to his son Bobby in 1974, who ran the smoker for over three decades before his son Wayne Mueller took over in 2007.

Louie Mueller is best known for their tender beef brisket, oversized "dino" ribs, and hand-mixed, sausage, the current owner and pitmaster is Wayne Mueller, the third generation to run the pits. Wayne carefully preserves their beloved family recipes, crafting mouthwatering classics from scratch.
